About Certified Rolfer Eric Gordon
Thank you for browsing my website and for visiting my Bio page. I always strive to connect with my clients. Part of that is sharing my experience, knowledge and excitement about Rolfing. It’s also important for you to see that I’m also a living, breathing human being, just like you. My life informs my Rolfing practice and how I work, and my work as a Rolfer also influences my life and how I see the world.
For starters, I am a graduate of The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, the only school that teaches Rolfing Structural Integration and trains Certified Rolfers. I chose to study at the Rolf Institute because it has the largest and most experienced structural integration faculty, and I knew it would provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive training available. I completed my studies in 2007 in Boulder, Colorado, and since then I’ve been in private practice in the Denver metropolitan area.
I’m not just a Rolfing practitioner; I became a client first, and for many years now I’ve been experiencing the benefits of Rolfing firsthand. Like most of my clients, I turned to Rolfing because finding relief for my acute and chronic pain issues was unsuccessful through other methods. Eventually I realized how much Rolfing had changed my life, and I decided that becoming a Certified Rolfer™ was the best way to share this work with as many people as I could.
Outside of working with Rolfing clients, my interests are varied. I enjoy delving into the world of Anusara yoga both in classes and at home, and I find it to be a great adjunct practice to my work as a Rolfer. Music is also a big passion of mine, and I get huge satisfaction from seeing live music, dancing and especially spending time behind a drum kit whenever I can. I also enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking great food and exploring my creative potential as much as I can.
